Carolina Brewing Company
Carolina Brewing Company is a long-standing local brewery that counts itself as one of the first breweries in North Carolina. They brew a pale ale, India pale ale and nut brown ale year round and feature seasonal summer wheats, Oktoberfest, winter porter and spring bock as well as a Groundhog day beer.
A smaller brewery by any standard, CBC prides itself in the quality that they are able to put into each batch and the natural ingredients that they stand behind.
Open each Saturday for a 1 pm tour, CBC gives visitors a chance to understand the brewing process, the history of the brewery and sample all of the current beers on tap, all for free. This is a great date, team outing or a break from the museum circuit.
The CBC brews can be found in Triangle area restaurants, bars and groceries.
