Idle Hour Coffee Roasters, a specialty coffee shop recently opened on Oberlin Road in the Five Points neighborhood in Raleigh, NC.

Idle Hour serves Vietnamese coffee as well as other local and regional coffees, tea from Durham’s Arteao, donuts from Raleigh’s Tepuy donuts, bagels from Garner’s Bold Bagels, and globally-inspired sandwiches using fresh bread from Raleigh’s Union Special Bread and in-house grown microgreens by Chef Benjamin Silva. Local craft beer and wine will also soon be on the menu.

Idle Hour is owned by Jimmy Bellew, who recently relocated to Raleigh from Pennsylvania to be closer to family and brings with him nearly 10 years’ experience in specialty craft coffee along with a desire to share his family’s culture with the Triangle. Bellew adds “we will soon begin offering our own in-house, small batch roasted beans and drip coffee selections.”
