Cary, NC – On Saturday, April 9th, NC Eat & Play is throwing a family-friendly, southern-rooted gathering at the picturesque, open-air Phillips Farms of Cary’s Farmer’s Market Pavillion! With live folk and bluegrass music playing and plenty of “county fair flare,” the Spring Hootenanny Food Festival will create joyous on-the-farm style fun and shenanigans for all.
The festival will feature
- Food tastings from some of the area’s most popular restaurants, food trucks, local purveyors, and farmers
- Games and giveaways
- Farm-style train rides for kids (and, yes, for adults, too!)
- Live music
- Lots of Cheerwine, a local classic
